Terms of Service
The rules that apply when you run a listening report, track a creator, export data, and publish findings from Social Listening.
Last updated: September 16, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of sociallistening.lol (the "Service"). By creating an account, running a report, or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Service runs research on publicly available short-form video content. You submit a query or a creator, we return an assembled report with outliers, engagement, sentiment, hooks, hashtags, and posting times, and we keep tracked items up to date with new snapshots.
Reports are estimates built from public signals. Engagement counts move, sampling is partial, and no collection method sees every post. Treat reports as directional evidence, not as a guaranteed census of a platform.
3. Accounts
You need an account to run reports and to save tracked items. You sign in with Google, and you are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- One person or one organisation per account; team seats are covered by the plan you buy.
- Notify us promptly at support@sociallistening.lol if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- Use reports to harass, stalk, dox, or build profiles of private individuals.
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute our collected datasets as a competing data feed.
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, seat limits, rate limits, or credit metering.
- Use the Service to break the terms of the platforms whose public content the Service reads.
- Reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service or the infrastructure behind it.
- Present report output as first-party platform data or as an official measurement from any platform.
5. Your content and our output
You keep ownership of the queries, notes, and briefs you write, and you are responsible for them. We keep ownership of the Service, its reports, its scoring methods, and its interface.
We grant you a licence to use the reports we generate for you in your own work, including client deliverables, subject to your plan. Public posts and comments referenced inside a report remain the property of the people who published them, and your use of that material is your responsibility.
6. Plans, credits, and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual interval and renew automatically until you cancel. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of report credits and a limit on tracked niches. Unused credits do not roll over.
We may change plan features or prices. Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we will tell you before they take effect. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but collection depends on third-party platforms that change without notice. Features may be added, changed, or retired, and a platform integration may pause while we adapt to a change on their side.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Reports are informational. Business, marketing, and investment decisions you take from a report are your own.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination and contact
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your account area. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or if we are required to by law.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@sociallistening.lol.
